The key aspect discussed in the video "Ideas worth spreading," there are some important points Clay Shirky shares with everyone. For example, "People were texting from their phones. They were taking photos of buildings. They were taking videos of buildings shaking." This point proves that social media has became so much more innovative. Also, as they were in danger they were posting about the earthquake to show people whats going on in China. Moving forward, many individuals has participated on social media to be updated with world problems to see whats going in around them instead just knowing whats surrounding them.
Last weekend I went to Canes to eat some fine food they serve there for the everyone. They serve chicken fingers, crinkle-cut, coleslaw, canes sauce, taxes toast, drinks. Its favorite place to go out and eat with friends. Everything they serve is fresh. Also, they have good servants. There is not a specific recipe they use to create the good food they serve. According to the recipe, the ingredients to make the sauce are 1 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup Heinz ketchup,1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon garlic powder.1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon black pepper (fresh ground pepper corn is best). This sauce is one of the best sauce for anyone to eat when they make food that needs dipping sauces to go way it.
In the article "Malala Yousafzai" there were some important points that inspired me. For example, "He wanted to set an example for his people by standing up for the rights of girls to be educated, even while his friends and extended family began to flee." Malala's father been supporting her since the beginning even though their people think women shouldn't be educated and all they want them to do is stay home instead of becoming someone that can help her whole nation. There was another piece that I was inspired by in the article. "Malala herself has become a young national hero, known also for her powerful voice and her courage to stand up for freedom and human rights." This shows that Malala never gave up on what she wanted to do, she became someone that many people look up to her after everything she accomplished.
The video was very interesting according to all the support the father had for his daughter and he had her back for everything she did. For example, "Women and men deserve equal opportunities for education, autonomy, an independent identity." This example showed how supportive her father is because in their country women are nit supposed to become successful or educated but nothing stopped Malala from doing what she loved to do.
Freedom to me is the cornerstone of our society, some people take freedom lightly, and some people value freedom greatly. Moving forward, Physical freedom means we have the freedom to live where we want no one can tell us where to live or what to do with their lives. I value physical freedom because its important everyone to do whatever they desire and go out whenever and wherever they want to go.
I have many goals. But my main goal is to become a successful individual. By being successful I mean I want to become a team leader a person others look up to. According to the video " The Power of Believing That Can Improve" it contains some important points that Carol Dweck makes during the video. What impressed me was the was she was talking about how we are able to do many things if we really want to do it. Moving forward, one of my passion is playing sports. Sports are meaningful to me because when i'm on the field makes me feel like i'm a different person, more aggressive and it keeps me moving. For example, the article states that "Finding where you want to make a difference, finding your voice, is not easy." This statement indicates that its not easy to find what you are really passionate about it takes time deciding what someone really cares about. Overall, the sport that I would like to become a team leader of is soccer because that sport means a lot to me and I have been playing it since I was a little girl.
